Overview: We offer four types of classes:
- Regular semester-based classes in Kathak and Folk Dance.
- Special Summer workshops.
- Customized classes for one-time events (such as weddings
or school performances).
- Individualized instruction (one-on-one).
The regular semester-based classes will have separate sections
for Prathama I (beginners), Prathama II (advanced beginners),
advanced students, and one for folk dances.
Fees and schedule for Summer 2007:
- In Summer 2007, we are offering a two-week introductory
special in July (3 classes per week, for a total of 6 classes).
This workshop will teach a complete Folk Dance and
introduce Kathak.
- Please contact us for more details.
Schedule for Fall 2007:
- The Fall 2007 semester will have 14 classes starting
in September and ending in December. Most likely, the
classes will be on Sundays. However, if there's enough
demand for a weekday evening class, we might create a
such a section.
- Please call us at 703-822-5965 to enquire about fees.
Procedures and policies:
- Refunds. The fees for the first class
cannot be refunded. If you decide to continue, the entire
semester amount is to be paid before the second
class. No refunds will be given for any fee unless
classes are canceled.
- Minimum class size. We reserve the right to
cancel a class (in which you do get a refund) if there
aren't enough students. Typically, we seek a minimum of
four students in each class.
